PRIVACY POLICY

How RETHYN handles information in connection with this website.

Who we are

RETHYN is a United Kingdom technology and wellbeing company, and the parent brand behind FitQuest XP. This policy explains how we handle information in connection with our website, rethyn.co.uk.

You can contact us about this policy, or about your personal information, at rethyn.ltd@outlook.com.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to this website only. It does not cover the FitQuest XP website or service, which is described separately below.

Information this website collects

This website does not use cookies, analytics tools, advertising trackers or enquiry forms. It does not offer accounts, and it does not collect or store personal information about its visitors.

Browsing rethyn.co.uk does not, by itself, give us any personal information about you.

When you contact us by email

Our contact page and email links open your own email application. If you choose to email us, we receive the information you send us — typically your name, your email address and the contents of your message.

We use that information to read and respond to your enquiry, and to handle any follow-up reasonably connected to it. Our lawful basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

We keep email correspondence only as long as it is useful for your enquiry and any reasonable follow-up, after which it is deleted.

Our email service

Email sent to our rethyn.ltd@outlook.com address is handled by Microsoft’s email service. Microsoft’s own privacy terms apply to the storage and processing of email on that service.

FitQuest XP is a separate product

FitQuest XP is our first product, and it runs on its own website at fitquestxp.co.uk. That website has its own terms and privacy practices, which apply when you visit it or use the product. This policy does not cover the FitQuest XP website or service.

Links to other websites

Where this website links to other websites, those sites have their own privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites we do not operate.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have rights over personal information that relates to you, including the right to:

  • ask whether we hold personal information about you and receive a copy of it;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete information, in certain circumstances;
  • ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it, in certain circumstances;
  • receive information you have given us in a portable format, where the law allows.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at rethyn.ltd@outlook.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if how we handle information changes. The current version will always be published on this page, with the date it took effect.
